Job Description
Chief Scientific Officer for our AIM listed, UK based, life science client. They offer an extensive range of catalogue products and related research services to support a greater understanding of the function of genes across all species and the genetic drivers of human disease and the development of personalised molecular, cell and gene therapies. The role holder will be a driving force in identifying and evaluating new technologies and in-licencing opportunities, interacting and influencing clients, prospects and key stakeholders. Candidates to have PhD in related field (biochemistry/molecular biology), a deep scientific understanding of therapeutics/translational biology with expertise in drug discovery and a minimum of 10 years’ research experience in a related field. Must also be financially savvy with high levels of business acumen.
