Jayne joined george james ltd in 2005 .Jayne McLaughlin has a degree in Chemistry and an MBA. She has 8 years experience as a research scientist followed by 9 years in Pan European technical sales and marketing roles promoting high technology products to the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food, Cosmetic, Chemical & Petrochemical market sectors.
Since 1993 Jayne has been a recruitment/ HR consultant where she has largely focussed on the life science and interrelated technology sectors. Here Jayne has applied her broad scientific and business experience to successfully complete many international search assignments in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics, instrumentation, fine chemicals and the contract research sectors.
The range of her assignments has covered all functions from Discovery Research through Development, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, QA, Manufacturing, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Director and non executive roles.
Jayne also supports other george james ltd services in market research to carry out benchmarking, salary surveys and attitude surveys. Jayne’s role in the HR consulting services also includes psychometrics, aptitude testing, assessment centres, personal coaching and supporting the retention strategies, career development, performance management, and succession planning evaluation and development services. Jayne operates in recruitment, HR services and coaching from first line management to board room appointments. Jayne’s knowledge of her sectors, deep experience and dedicated commitment adds real value to the service we deliver to our clients.
For the last 12 months Jayne has been an active member of The PM Connective committee (www.pmconnective.org) which has been established to identify the barriers holding back better outcomes in personalized medicine.
