Vice President of Bioinformatics. Our client is a ground-breaking company focused on the development of the next generation of personalised immunotherapies to treat cancer. They are seeking a highly talented and experienced Bioinformatics Professional to join their senior management team and to play a primary role in the development of the next generation of immune-based cancer therapies. Reporting to the CEO, the position will serve as the technical and strategic director of bioinformatics R&D projects and software development activities. They will partner with senior heads of department across clinical, clinical operations, process development/immunology, manufacturing/production, IP and regulatory affairs to translate and identify immediate, short-term and long-term bioinformatics needs and requirements. They will also own the company’s bioinformatics R&D roadmap to model future capabilities (what, how, who and when). Candidates to have extensive experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or equivalent and a strong publication record. A minimum of 5 years of bioinformatics management experience within pharma/biotech environment. Oncology/Immuno-Oncology experience is preferred.
