Our client is a Data Science Company focused on advancing the development of innovative therapeutics through the principles of data curation and in silico drug discovery analysis.
The Senior Business Development Managers will be fundamental in driving client relationships forward while identifying and securing new business opportunities for growth. The role holders will work closely with the Head of Business Development to drive forward the commercial side of the Company by securing new business and accelerating the growth of the Company. Utilising knowledge within the Life Sciences industry and experience within business development, The Senior Business Development Managers will be proactive in completing sales by being seen as trusted advisors and champions of the technology and solutions. You will lead on the growth of new business relationships that lead to sustainable business and high growth within the defined market segments.
The candidates will be experienced high calibre business development and commercial development professionals. They will need to have several years of experience and an extensive track record of delivering high revenue deals through complex and flexible deal-making. You will be familiar with enterprise sales strategies such as account-based marketing, and be able to demonstrate consistent success in closing deals either directly or as part of a team-based sell. Good scientific credentials are required coupled with an interest in computational biology, data science or drug discovery. Experience of business development in a service context, rather than solely ‘product’ sales would be desirable and a proven deal sheet with a track record of highly consistent sales and meeting revenue targets. The roles are home office based so locations are flexible.
