Job Description

Our client is a leading CRO with a global presence who offers customers in the agrochemical market the opportunity to outsource studies required to optimize the development of their products by providing first class laboratory and technical services that add measurable value.

An opportunity exists to work with them as a Researcher, based in the SE of England. This is a key role, acting as Study Director under GLP regulations on multiple studies of work encompassing a range of environmental fate and/or plant or animal studies. The role holder will train and manage a team of scientists to undertake these studies. Required qualifications to BSc level or above in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline or extensive experience at the technical level in a closely related discipline.

Candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Master Research Technician or equivalent and experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC/TLC as well as a knowledge of regulatory and reporting requirements. Experience of working in a customer focussed, commercial environment and a proven ability to plan and conduct studies to a high standard, on time and to budget.
