Job Description

Our UK based Genomics client is on a significant growth trajectory, with an extensive range of products for PCR and NGS. This role is critical to support the development of their growing enzymes portfolio, working closely with the R&D team and the NGS business unit manager.

The role objectives centre on owning the enzymes portfolio with responsibility for product marketing, product life cycle management, working with key commercial B2B customers to maximise revenues, and leading commercial input to drive new product development.

The role holder will develop and implement a strategy for the Enzymes portfolio to drive sales, own and communicate internally and externally the product positioning for the portfolio and provide the commercial leadership on new product development activities, including preparing the business cases and design input requirements. They will also drive new product registration on internal systems and educate both internal and external stakeholders on product features, and their benefits whilst delivering training and tools to the sales teams.

Candidates must have a BSc degree in Life Sciences, or equivalent, previous experience of product marketing, and or product management in the Life Sciences industry and excellent written and verbal communication skills; there is an extensive amount of writing and presenting / selling ideas in this role.
