Job Description

Our Client is focussed on novel diagnostic research and early-stage production of novel, IP protected, testing and diagnostic solutions for global infectious diseases. The role holder will be focussed on marketing and production of these technologies in collaboration with key partners around the globe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the product portfolio and will also run numerous projects as assigned and ensure that they meet or exceed the company’s expectations. This will include, product management and marketing in collaboration with the COO and CSO.

The candidate will be responsible with the operations manager for delivering production forecasts and annual plans and strategy to build the company’s business. The successful individual will play a pivotal role in communications with the Directors and team, ensuring that all communications are clear, concise and accurate.

The Product Marketing Manager will gather market intelligence, identify market trends, and anticipate competitive threats. The role holder will be the product champion and will ensure that market opportunities are clearly prioritized, that product portfolio positioning is effective, and that value propositions are clearly articulated to the regional sales teams, distributor partners and target customers.

The candidate needs to be experienced in handling all elements of bringing a product to market including, delivering clear protocols and Instructions for Use (IFU) with the products, managing pricing, forecasting and marketing programmes including PR, Symposiums and other channels to gain recognition of the Company and its products in the key audiences of peers, customers and key decision-makers.

The role holder requires significant expertise of progressive marketing, brand-building, product management and sales experience in the life science markets and ideally possess an understanding of infectious disease diagnostics but as a minimum has the educational background and hunger to constantly learn and understand how the technology applies in this area and become an expert of applications in the market place.
