Our client has Innovative technologies for bone repair. They are seeking an NED with a deep first-hand experience of the regenerative medicine sector, ideally in orthopaedics.
The role holder must have good contacts and ‘been there’ T-shirt with respect to an innovative regen medicine product; Steering a new product through the regulatory minefields in EU and / or USA and/or Licensing to one of the majors and the ability to guide the clinical development pathway as the product seems likely to be classified as a combination product.
Knowledge of the Asian markets would be very helpful as they predict that we will launch in Asia before either the EU or USA. It is crucial the role holder is commitment to helping out with a young company, and thus has an understanding of the rough and tumble of SME life and a willingness to be available to work between board meetings.
