Healum is a digital health company with a mission to improve the health of 100 million people by creating digital solutions that enable health professionals to support people with long-term conditions. Healum’s suite of patient-facing digital products and accompanying patient management software enable healthcare professionals to utilise the power of behavioural science and Artificial Intelligence to deliver personalised support to more patients, more of the time and at a lower cost in order to achieve better health outcomes. The company has just received its second round of funding from Maven Capital Partners and Catapult Ventures, has achieved product-market fit and has a team skilled in AI, behavioural science, healthcare, design, development, sales and marketing.
The chairperson is required to support the executive team of the company and its investors to make the key decisions needed to grow and scale the business across all areas of its operation. The role will support the company in shaping its story and value proposition and assist the company in achieving its UK growth plan and international expansion plan.
The role demands an experienced NED/Chair with a track record of success in starting and scaling a health technology business across multiple international markets. Experience in raising capital at different key stages during a company lifecycle is required as is a track record of exits within the health technology industry or other relevant industries. Prior involvement with data-driven healthcare and use of AI technologies used to improve patient outcomes and patient care would be highly advantageous.
