Job Description
Our client who manufactures recombinant proteins and enzymes produced by genetically modified microorganisms needs an industrial manufacturing expert to come in on part-time and do a number of things:
- Evaluate what they are doing
- Optimises current process to maximise production capacity
- Ensure they meet the regulatory standards to supply excipients for diagnostic applications
- Upskill current staff
- Lead a project to design and specify a new production plant
- Be a key advisor during the build and commissioning of the new facility
- Train a full-time Production Director to take over the new facility (most likely a local Polish candidate)
The role could be for as long as 18months and will require variations in time commitment at different stages of the project.
