Our client is focused on novel diagnostic research and early stage production of novel, IP protected, testing and diagnostic solutions for global infectious diseases. With products now on the market, they are now directing their efforts to completing final research and development work and to expanding marketing and production of these technologies in collaboration with key partners around the globe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the entity, the team and its product portfolio so as to lead it toward an IPO/Exit.
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible to the Chair and board of directors and direct and develop company strategy in conjunction with the COO and CSO for an immediate go to market strategy for the product pipeline developed by the team. Financially savvy they will run the commercial operations of the company and develop the global customer relationships to exploit the product portfolio to its fullest.
The candidate needs to be experienced in handling all elements of developing a commercial strategy, bringing products to market and exploiting opportunities for growth and development. The candidate will also need experience in dealing with rapid corporate expansion opportunities.
The role holder must bring an international network of contacts in Government, KOLs, regulatory bodies, patient advocacy groups and charities, target laboratories and payers in the infectious disease diagnostic market and relevant personal experience in the development and commercialisation of pathogen diagnostics and on an international scale.
