Location; South UK – some remote working possible.

Our client is a world-leading liquid biopsy company with sample-to-answer solutions. Its proven patent-protected platform is a circulating tumour cell (CTC) harvesting technology using a bespoke system.

The Company is accelerating all aspects of its commercialisation and now needs a Chief Commercial Officer to lead all aspects of commercialisation. The new CCO reports to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing the pharma service business team selling services to pharma as well as Leading the corporate MedTech business doing deals with large diagnostic companies that have downstream analysis assays that can be paired with the company’s technology. The role holder will also Oversee the teams responsible for sale of products for research use and clinical use via direct sales and through distributors. the CCO will in addition provide Leadership of other commercial aspects including managing the Company’s work on securing reimbursement codes, commercial input to business plans and customer user needs, and seeking partnerships with large clinical laboratories and clinical centres to drive adoption.

The role requires an experienced diagnostic commercialisation specialist ideally in the cancer field and ideally with international expertise. A science background is preferred with significant expertise in sales to pharmaceutical, large biotech, CRO/CDMO organizations coupled with direct hands-on experience with B2B sales and alliance management.

The candidate must have advanced leadership, analytical and project management skills and be a 1st class communicator.
