Job Description

Our client has a broad range solutions to help Characterize drug formulations, Materialize the formulation process of poorly soluble APIs and novel Drug Delivery Systems (e.g. implants) and Analyze the end product of the development efforts. This role demands a candidate who knows how to sell Capex manufacturing equipment into Pharma, Biopharma, Generics , Contract Research & Contract Manufacturing Organisations. The role holder will be a good door opener and an experienced Key Account Manager with a track record of account penetration. The role holder will support a team of specialist sales experts and those selling support analytical instrumentation as well as dealers. The role holder will have an understanding of pharma R&D from formulations development through process development to full scale manufacturing have an appreciation of validation.

The role requires strong commercial skills to exceed aggressive sales targets and develop relationships with new customers and the ability to develop and build key accounts within the pharmaceutical industry. The role holder will be an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas and working at difference levels in a complex organization. Previous experience in the Material Sciences would be an advantage. The role holder must be willing to spent approximately 70% of their time travelling through the territory
