The client is a German biotechnology company that develops and manufactures active immunotherapies for patient-specific approaches to the treatment of diseases. It develops pharmaceutical candidates based on messenger ribonucleic acid for use as individualized cancer immunotherapies, as vaccines against infectious diseases and as protein replacement therapies for rare diseases, and also engineered cell therapy, novel antibodies and small molecule immunomodulators as treatment options for cancer.
The successful candidates will contribute to achieving the company’s corporate business development goals and objectives, support the BD strategy, and alliance management functions.
The roles will have the opportunity to work on both in- and outbound deals and support the growth strategy across all of its business units and affiliates. The individuals will report to the VP Business Development and will identify and evaluate new business development opportunities with prospective partners in pharma, biotech and academia. Amongst others, the incumbent will negotiate contracts and lead interdisciplinary teams with the goal to commercially and financially evaluate such new opportunities.
Furthermore, the successful candidates will monitor key competitors, track deal-making environments and represent the company at conferences and meetings with potential partners.
These roles are home-based (UK, EU or New York USA) with flexible working with the occasional trip to the HQ location in Germany (Frankfurt area).
