Our client is a start-up company, which is revolutionising the study of label-free molecular interactions and thereby changing the world of drug discovery. By combining a level of sensitivity superior to previous techniques with exceptional crude sample robustness, their products raise the study of molecular interactions onto the next level. Biopharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as leading academic institutes, are keenly interested in utilizing this new bioanalytic tool.

The VPSO is a senior level leadership position and a critical member of the company’s leadership team. To serve the rapidly growing opportunity the VPSO is tasked to develop the company’s market position and to achieve a set of challenging financial growth targets. The position requires a profound understanding and many years of proven global experience in developing and leading sales organisations selling research instrumentation into a B2B market environment.

A strategic mind in conjunction with a strong entrepreneurial drive, resourcefulness and the ability to skillfully apply strategic, key account and complex sales principles up to C-level executives, are all expected assets of the applicant. The role holder must be an avid networker with excellent communication skills and hands-on in directing and motivating the sales team to follow through with the tactical execution of the company go-to-market strategy.
