The role of Strategic Account Manager UK is a new role in a new team. Given the global nature and size of key accounts, they are building a global Strategic Accounts Management Team to best look after them, with a focus on building long terms partnerships based on future collaborations as well as today’s business. The UK person will liaise with counterparts in the US and Asia.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of technical knowledge and credibility in the areas of Cell & Gene Therapy along with a  proven track record of success in strategic sales and senior key account management roles. Ideally a further degree in a Cell or Gene Therapy related topic, with an MBA a plus.

This is a senior sales role, with a compensation package that reflects this. He or she will be responsible for developing long-term partnerships within Strategic Accounts across different levels of personnel. Able to set and meet or exceed revenue targets both short and long-term (2-3 years), while also identifying collaborative opportunities that drive forward research and provide a solid basis for business and long-term objectives.
