Job Description
Reporting to the CSO, the role holder will lead the growing team of 15 heads in Immunology in this Cell Therapy based Biotech. You will build, lead and manage an immunology-based Cell Therapy research portfolio unit with leadership reaching through to early clinical evaluation. You will help to address the challenges associated with efficacy, safety and scalability in the development and manufacture of new cell therapies, making a difference to your colleagues, collaborators and to patients. You will bring an outstanding international reputation in immunology with a PhD in the relevant field and 15+ year of experience, including industry cell therapy experience, ideally in a senior immunology position. You possess an in-depth understanding of fundamentals of auto-immune disease, immunology, immune-oncology and tumour biology. A knowledge of state-of-the-art and newest developments in cell therapy is essential together with proven ability to build a team, including attracting, motivating and developing talent.
