The role holder is responsible for all sales and prospection activities of the Clients pre-clinical imaging solutions: MRI, PET, SPECT and CT. The position will be addressing, but not limited to, the Academic, Pharmaceutical, Biosciences and Petrochemical research markets.
This role is suitable for anyone with expertise in Life Sciences Capital Equipment sales. Candidates must be an assertive sales professional, highly motivated, experienced, organized and possessing the drive and desire to aggressively manage all sales activities in the designated territory.
They will be driven by exceeding annual sales targets, building strong relationships within the molecular imaging research community, encouraging and enabling innovation adoption, in a dynamic market. The Sales Manager for North America will directly report to the Sales and Marketing Director.
The role holder will have successful sales experience in the Life Science Capital Equipment market and qualified to at least Minimum B.S. in Life Sciences (biology, molecular biology preferred). A working knowledge of MRI is helpful but not essential, as is knowledge of other types of nuclear imaging, PET, CT etc., but full technical training can be provided. Experience in responding to RFPs and tenders is desirable along with a track record of preparing forecasts and achieving targets.
