The company seeks a dynamic sales professional with relevant experience to drive revenue growth. The role holder will bring a structured and organised approach but also have an entrepreneurial spirit in driving the next growth phase of the business. The role holder will be both a sole contributor and a line manager.
The Sales Director will undertake Business Development, Sales, Brand and solutions market positioning, Sales team development and coaching within a dynamic global organisation. The role will report to the new CCO. The role will add value to the growth by driving revenue and identifying new commercial opportunities and developing and implementing marketing and sales activities.
The role holder will have a degree in life sciences or equivalent training; molecular biology or human genetics preferred and have worked in the diagnostics industry. A proven track record in deeply self-engaged strategic account sales and market roll-out/expansion is required as is an understanding of the key performance indicators, workflows and technologies of NGS analysis in clinical diagnostics, clinical sequencing/ NGS-based targeted sequencing, Translational research, Therapeutic Drug Development. The role holder needs to possess a comprehensive network of specialists and clinical diagnostics target clients in the DACH region and the Netherlands and able to rapidly expand the network as required. Fluency in German and business level English is essential.
