The Sales Development Manager, Nordics will bring novel, advanced products and technology for genetic analysis on single DNA molecules to the market in the area of Next Generation Sequencing. The role holder will be a part of an interdisciplinary dynamic team who share the vision of better healthcare by improving Next Generation Sequencing and securing the integrity of DNA information.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and highly motivated Sales Development Manager for the Nordic countries. The role requires strong technical knowledge in the area of Next Generation Sequencing with scientific and commercial credibility to effectively consult on solutions, products and technologies with key decision makers. The role holder will work with a team of talented professionals to introduce and grow the technology and products in the Nordic region. Strong business acumen will allow the role holder to build a territory strategic sales plan to deliver on commercial targets and actively build awareness of clients products.
The candidate will be an experienced, high calibre sales/ business development professional with ideally some of consultative sales experience from the Life Science and Genomics market; experience in sales of capital equipment is desirable. The role requires several years of experience and a track record of success, as a high performing sole contributor, of closing deals with customers. Ideally, the candidate will have had experience of selling to leading organisations in their specific market as this will demonstrate that the candidate understands the requirements and internal decision-making processes of companies of all sizes and in academia and research institutes. Willing to travel up to 60%. The role holder will be Self-motivated with unrivalled drive and energy; organised with the ability to work effectively and accomplish tasks on time while being managed remotely.
