Job Description

The company’s mission is to reduce unnecessary hospitalisations and give people more control over their care. The company believes patients should have choices about the care they receive, and designs tools to ensure those choices can be easily recorded, discussed and shared with family, carers, and healthcare professionals.

The Non-executive director, will be responsible for representing a major shareholder in the company. The company is seeking an individual who wants to make a positive and significant difference to the health and wellbeing of people in Britain, and who believes people should have more input into their own care planning.

The role holder should be someone who has a background in healthcare and technology. This could be as a board member or IT director of a Clinical Commission Group (CCG) or NHS Trust, or maybe acted in  a Senior Technology role for one of the major NHS software providers, or perhaps held a senior role at the NHS (Digital) or in a Private Insurer.

Please note: this is an early stage start-up and social venture. There is no remuneration for this role but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
