Our client is a commercial-stage diagnostics company committed to reducing healthcare costs and improving patient care through the provision of innovative tests within established markets. With an initial focus on blood grouping and serological disease screening, our client is developing its proprietary technology platform to offer a breadth of tests that is unmatched by existing commercially available transfusion diagnostic instrument platforms. The platform will allow for full characterization (using existing serological approaches) of patient and donor red blood cells and plasma utilizing a single microarray. It is also being developed to undertake, serologically, full mandatory virology screening for donor blood.
The primary objective of this KAM role will be to establish a significant footprint in blood banks, donor centres and other blood establishments across the allocated territories within Europe. The candidate will have relevant education to degree standard or equivalent in biology, chemistry, lab medicine, sciences or other related disciplines. They will also have a minimum of 5 years selling experience in medical devices and / or diagnostic industry, experience of strategic account management and be able to demonstrate proven winning sales performance particularly in competitive wins. Tender writing experience required and French speaking. This is a field base role requiring regular travel and occasional overnight.
