Our client is focused on novel diagnostic research and early-stage production of novel, IP protected, testing and diagnostic solutions for global infectious diseases. With products now on the market, they are now directing their efforts to completing final research and development work and to expanding marketing and production of these technologies in collaboration with key partners around the globe.
The company seeks a dynamic sales professional with relevant experience to drive revenue growth, initially within the UK, EMEA and Brazil and to support other global markets as the business grows. The role holder will be the pioneer on driving the commercialisation phase of the business and will be a sole contributor initially but the plan is for this person to build the direct and distribution sales team.
The Sales Development Manager will undertake Business Development, Sales and some marketing. The role will report to the new CEO. The role will add value to the growth by driving revenue (both direct sales and through partnerships/distribution) and identifying new commercial opportunities and developing and implementing marketing and sales activities.
Organised and able to implement all the relevant systems and process required to build and manage international sales the role demands a Sales professional with a scientific background and a track record of taking new diagnostics products to market in several geographic locations. A track record of building and managing a variety of sales channels including direct and distribution is needed as is experience of selling small CapEx and consumables.
