Job Description

Our client is a global pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment producer and is in the process of expanding its Data Analytics division. They are seeking a new global Head of Marketing. This key position will suit someone with the drive and vision to plan, develop and implement dynamic inbound and outbound marketing strategies within the biopharma, chemistry and food and beverage industries. The position will include leading and coaching the global marketing team.

This role can be based in the UK, Sweden or Central Europe and is based from home as long as you live close to an international airport.

The role requires strong leadership skills combined with an extrovert personality that can capture an audience and effectively communicate a vision for taking Data Analytics to the next level.

The role holder will have extensive marketing experience that is current and forward thinking including success-tracking of marketing strategies, marketing communications, development and implementation of programs for lead generation and conversion, public relations activities plus oversees product management. You will also co-ordinate with the other functions of the organization at strategic and tactical levels.

The role holder will have strong marketing communications leadership position experience as well as Leadership experience in product management (ideally software and/or life science technology). A track record in Inbound Marketing (lead generation, conversion and nurturing – from cold to close plus implementation of marketing automation process is required as well as Outbound marketing expertise (value messaging, website content and tracking, success stories, whitepapers, digital marketing, blogs etc.) and events. Knowledge of the effective use of closed-loop analytics with sales to track lead conversion and continuous refinement of conversion process is required.
