Our client is a successful data science company focused on advancing the development of innovative therapeutics through the principles of data curation and in silico drug discovery analyses. The company has developed a technology platform which enables fully comprehensive and unbiased curation of valuable data often missing from structured biomedical databases.
The candidate will work closely with the CEO to optimise a strategy of fostering trust and credibility with clients through carefully coordinated business development activities that lead to sustainable business relationships and high growth within defined market segments.
The candidate will be an experienced, technically qualified high calibre international business development and commercial development professional, with several years of experience and an extensive track record of delivering high revenue deals through complex and flexible deal-making. You will be highly familiar with enterprise sales strategies, such as account-based marketing, and be able to demonstrate consistent success in closing deals either directly or as part of a team-based sell (such as working with the CEO and technical experts).
An extensive contacts list within our target segments is sought to supplement their existing customer base and network of opportunities. In particular with discovery groups in big pharma, mid-size pharma and early-stage biotechs in the UK and Europe.
Experience of business development in a service context, rather than solely ‘product’ sales would be desirable.
