Job Description

Our Pharmaceutical client requires a Head of BD & Licensing to develop effective relationships with third party pharmaceutical developers and manufacturers which position our client as partner of choice to commercialise new late-stage assets. Through the leadership of the UK Business Development Team, and by working collaboratively with the European Business Development community, they will develop and execute the Strategic Business Development plan and be responsible for the end-to-end process of search, evaluation and business case approval. The role involves leading a team consisting of a Scientific Advisor (Medic), Market Access Manager and a Principal Analyst. The candidate will understand and promote the unique position of our client in relevant markets to secure meaningful assets that will enable continued growth of the business. Candidates to have a demonstrable track record of completing Licensing and Business Development deals (ideally in the UK, Ireland and Netherlands markets), be a strong leader of people with the ability to articulate a clear vision and possess robust evidence of strategic business development planning and implementation.
