Job Description
This role directs and manages our clients biostorage, sample administration and sample preparation services business in the European Region. The successful incumbent will achieve financial targets, while maintaining sample and data integrity and Quality. The role directly manages biobank and laboratory personnel, and plays an important role in defining and executing the growth plans for the Region. This role is both strategic, operational, scientific, and tactical, requiring the incumbent to strike a balance between defining and executing business plans, managing staff and lab operations, and collaborating with commercial teams and customers.
The role holder will have both a technical, operational and commercial acumen and must be an expert understanding of Genomics sample preparation and analysis using robotic automation, genomic arrays and NGS. A Good working knowledge of GxP, CAP, CLIA and EU regulations and guidelines is required.
Location: Southwest Germany; 45mins drive south from Frankfurt.
