Job Description

UK based this is a newly created role and will be responsible for executing the regional MARCOM strategy and Marketing plan with other key regional functions. Key will be the development and execution of tactical marketing plans and programs to support existing product ranges in Electron Microscopy and Scanning Probe Microscopy , and for ensuring successful launches of new products in the region.

The role holder needs to be an accomplished networker and negotiator capable of thinking strategically but also following through with the tactical execution. The roes holder will have at least Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline; ideally a PhD. Completion of an advanced degree in business or marketing is strongly desired.

The role requires significant expertise of progressive marketing, brand-building, product management and sales experience in the life science instrumentation markets. Ideally the role holder possess an understanding of microscopy; but as a minimum has the educational background and hunger to constantly learn and understand how the technology applies in this area and become an expert on applications in the market place.

A track record of management would be helpful but more importantly is a demonstrable track record of working effectively in matrix teams.
