Job Description
Our client who manufactures recombinant proteins and enzymes produced by genetically modified microorganisms needs a quality expert to come in on part-time and do a number of things:
- Evaluate current quality systems
- Optimises current quality process to support them maximising production capacity
- Ensure they meet the regulatory standards to supply excipients for diagnostic applications
- Upskill current staff
- Support a project to design and specify a new production plant
- Be a key advisor on quality issues during the build and commissioning of the new facility
- Train a full-time Quality Director to take over the new facility (most likely a local Polish candidate)
The role could be for as long as 18months and will require variations in time commitment at different stages of the project.
