Kay Galvin

Kay has over 30 years’ experience in Human Resources, largely gained within the corporate world and has latterly moved into applying her extensive knowledge more flexibly within the interim market.

Kay has a strong strategic and commercial focus and worked successfully at Senior Business Partner level for Dun & Bradstreet, the US data and business information organisation. Kay is a true HR generalist and, in her career, has worked across many areas including organisation design and restructure, employee relations, reward, wellbeing and policy development. She adopts a structured yet agile approach to projects and engages fully with stakeholders from the design phase to implementation and evaluation.

Projects led by Kay include:

  • TUPE and large-scale restructuring programmes involving both individual and collective consultation
  • Enhancements and changes to pension schemes
  • Culture programmes introducing Great Place To Work® into an organisation
  • Transitioning a company car benefit to an allowance only scheme

Kay is proud to have pioneered the introduction of mental health first aiders in an organisation and is passionate about wellbeing and mental health at work; an area of significant focus in the current changing environment.
